This week Solo staff members Sione, Illidio and Nick completed their Upskills Pop Up Leadership course. This course was for 10 weeks and included a mixture of Zoom and face to face sessions to help them gain their Level 3 New Zealand Certificate in Business (Team Leadership).

A collaboration with Upskills and CompeteNZ – this course covered a range of topics including how to be an emotionally intelligent leader, creating team wellness, effective delegation, goal setting and a range of other topics.

Sione (Factory Manager at Solo) said “This Leadership course helped me understand the personalities of staff and how to communicate effectively with them. The Tetramap tool for different personality types has been valuable to show better ways to interact with my team.”

Nick (PE Supervisor at Solo) said “It was great to get some tools that I could use to look at varying my teaching style when interacting with staff and communicate with them in a way that gets results.”
